I have been asked to use Vlookup to flag similar entries in two files using
vlookup. Is it possible? Thanks

An easy way to do this is to start your formula and then select the other
area and then touch the enter key.
=vlookup(a2,
now open the other file >goto the lookup range>highlight it>touch the enter
key>complete the formula.
