Our compaq keyboard software disappears from the device
manager,the keyboard stops working and needs to be
restarted to reinstall the hardware.
Any ideas?
The driver # is 5.1.2600.1106
Compaq keyboard # is sdm4540ul

Contact HP/Compaq. This is NOT a Windows issue and MS cannot assist with OEM
installations. That is a proprietary driver and can only be obtained via HP.
