I finally got sp2 then restarted it now i get vgaoem.fon
error i searched googles for it and it shows it as an
error that happens after installing XP over windows 98.i
bought it preloaded with everything.Compaq Presario
SA4000Z,XP Home,AMD Athlon 3700+ operating at
2.4GHz ,1024mb ram,80gig hard drive.did compaq rip me off
loading xp over 98.it keeps asking for the recovery
cd,and press the r button.can i get the cd from here
anywhere or do i need to write to microsoft for it

a Compaq Restore CD designed for your specific
model Compaq computer.

You may be able to get a original restore cd from
http://www.ambry.com. They usually carry all of them. All you need
is the correct part number from hp.
