Compaq portable reacts "dead"

HI, my Compaq portable computer, wich I used withouth any trouble yesterday,
on 220 Ac power,

will not start any more today. It is a Evo N610c. No noise, nothing, as if
it gets no power, though connected to 220V AC.

Is there som harware key to lock or unlock or is it really broken... ?

NL : Compaq portable wil niet meer starten, geen geluid, niets... Gisteren
nochtans OK, en ik werk steeds op netstroom.
Kan het zijn dat er een hardware key of zoiets bestaat ?
