Right-click on your desktop and select Properties > Settings > Advanced.
Under the "General tab" in Advanced Display Settings, adjust your
DPI setting to "Normal Size (96 DPI)" and click "apply".
Afterward, right-click on your Desktop and select:

settings, then select "Highest (32 bit) Color Quality setting,
and click "apply".

| My wife bought a new laptop. It came with XP. Somehow or
| other she changed the screen to half size right in the
| middle of the screen. I've searched Compaq and MS Help but
| I can't find anything that tells me how to use the entire
| screen. I've also tried to change the resolution but it
| won't take. Can anybody help?
| Thanks,
