My girlfriend has a Compaq Evo620c given her by her office. It came wit
no manuals -- in their infinite wisdom, they set it up for her in it
present underpowered state. That means 256M of system RAM and it i
slower than molassass in the arctic.

I've uncovered a few places on the back of the computer with no luck
There is a keyboard screw on the back as well. So far, I'm without
clue as to where to put the 512M SODIMM chip I purchased for he
computer. I am quite familiar with desktop computers and have eve
upgraded the processor of one older laptop (that was underneath th
keyboard). I cannot figure out how to remove the keyboard of he
Evo620c and I'm not even sure that is where to put the RAM.

Anyone know how to go about installing the RAM for this computer

Thank you very much for the link. I was all over the HP/Compaq site
before I posed the question and could not find manuals, how-tos or
anything like what I was looking for.

I feel certain that this will work.

Thanks again.
