Company Proxy settings vs. Home Network

i've looked through the prior postings and haven't
found anything, so here i am. the issue is with a
remote salesman that has a home network. the laptop,
an ibm t41 has been on our company's domain when it
was first set-up. the sales force occasionally comes
in to the office (about 3 times a year) and then needs
access to the network so this is common.

his complaint is that the company's proxy settings keep
returning each, and every, time he uses his home network.
he then has to uncheck "use proxy" settings in IE before
he can reach the web. many have looked at this and no one
is able to figure it out. i figured this would be a good
place to try before abandoning ship!

thanks

assuming you use group policy to setup proxy, you can create a logon script
to disable the proxy settings when he logon it at home.
