Hi group

I have a problem using EWF RAM reg mode on a CF disk.
I modified a well working Image according to:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de...egoverlays.asp

and the deployed to image the target.
FBA ran through and rebooted the target.
Now, shortly after the XPembedded bootscreen comes up,
it always stops with a BSOD Stop 7B.

http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de...bootdevice.asp
doesn't bring me further, since this all worked within the same image.

Who has a idea what I did wrong with the EW`F?

Thanks
Franz

Hi Srivathsan

Thanks for the links.
I removed the "VolSnap" and used EWF only ... and it worked!
Did you add a second filter with VolSnap? What if I don't?
MS really should correct this article!

Thanks and best regards
Franz

The "VolSnap" value should be there there if you happended to add "Volume
Shadow Copy Service" component to your image.
Just one more filter driver (please note that the UpperFilters is MultiSZ
value)
