I am trying to do a compact and repair on my database, but it keeps freezing
and giving the microsoft has encountered and error half way through. I
really need to fix is there any thing anyone can think of or suggest. I have
never had this happen before, its very frustrating. Thanks

This is a sign of corruption. I'd start by importing the tables and
relationships into a new MDB.

Otherwise make a copy of the corrupt MDB and start working through the
items at the following page.
