The CF 2.0 is not going to be officially supported on PPC 2000 and PPC 2002
based devices. It will, however, be supported on PPC 2003 devices. For PPC
2000 and 2002 devices you will need to use CF 1.0
(http://msdn.microsoft.com/smartclien.../default.aspx#
1.4), but there's always the SDF to fill the gap
(http://www.opennetcf.org/sdf).

Very cool chart!

This implies that VS 2005 will be able to target the CF 1.0, is this
true?

It also seems to say that VS 2005 can not be used to target PPC 2002
devices, even if you tell it to use CF 1.0?

Actually, according to the chart, there are no current plans for VS05 to
support CF 1.0 on anything other than SmartPhone apps. So for your PPC 00/02
the answer is still no unfortunately.
