what happened to the compact button? Kinda defeats the purpose of doing
maintence if we can't compact the files afterwards.

I realize that we can set the number of closes to X and then it will do the
compact but that is a horrible option. Then again Vista mail is about 50
steps backwards.

because of the change in formats of data store it is not really needed to compact as frequent as was with OE.
100 is a bit high for me, I set mine to 5 and it seems to be a happy medium.
