Hi:

I have been compacting and and compress by mdb database
for sometime now. I just noticed that my mdb database has
been growing because of changes, etc. It is currently
about 59MB in size.

I created a new database, and imported everything over
from the old database to the new one. I noticed that the
overall size of the database is much smaller than the 59MB
in size.

I checked out the new database and everything works with
nothing missing.

Can someone explain what is happening?????
I am interested.

Thank You,

Gary
