Not sure you would want to hear your voice as you are recording it (if I
understand what you want to do).
By default, any sound coming out of the speakers while you were using a mic
would be recorded, which you wouldn't want. Maybe you could go through
line-in instead?
It will likely put you off your speech involuntarily.
