My status monitor is not able to establish two way comm with my
computer/printer.
The printer (Epson R800) is ok as it works on another computer. Also tried 3
different cables. The printer communicates one way and works fine (I have to
disable the stat mon) All Epson files were completely removed and reinstalled
with the assistance of an Epson tech. Epson feels that there is a two way
comm issue, as if we enable the stat mon, then the printer slows way down as
the two try to handshake.
All other usb peripherals work.
It seems that all that is left is Win XP home.
Ideas??
