Communicating with Short Haul Modems

I have a pc and a server connected with two short haul
modems. The modems are connected with two twisted pairs.
I'm using the short haul modems because of distance. I am
able to connect the pc to the server in hyperterminal and
pcanywhere, but is there a way to connect the two, so I
can share resources?
