I have a common problem that's posted on this site - can't see the client in
wireless network and can't connect to client's shares. I've tried a number
of suggestions offered by this Group to no avail. The "client" (laptop w/XP
Pro SP2) can see and connect to the wireless network and see and share "host"
(HOME, desktop w/Win2K) files but not vice versa ("Network path not found" or
something like that). SP2 firewall is turned off on laptop, altho Symantec
AV w/Live Update is on, if that makes a diff. Please see the Browstat report
below and advise if you can determine a fix. (I have Computer Browser turned
off on laptop and turned on on desktop). The wireless network/workgroup I
want to connect to is "RESIDENCE". I don't know why Browstat calls it a
domain or why it also says there are 2 domains. Any help would be
appreciated. TIA

------------Browstat Status Report-----------------
Status for domain RESIDENCE on transport
\Device\NetBT_Tcpip_{ACA4BCB1-E1AB-411A-9314-86788E5449BD}
Browsing is active on domain.
Master browser name is: HOME
Master browser is running build 2195
1 backup servers retrieved from master HOME
\\HOME
There are 1 servers in domain RESIDENCE on transport
\Device\NetBT_Tcpip_{ACA4BCB1-E1AB-411A-9314-86788E5449BD}
There are 2 domains in domain RESIDENCE on transport
