Modern Intel motherboards will boot from a cdrom or floppy bootable to W98
command line - but the usual oakcdrom.sys device driver will no longer work say
on a P35 or G33 board "no device found" is the boot line message.
Does anyone know of a driver or a work around that will work and pick up the
CDrom and any FAT drives?
I dont know if the same problem applies to current AMD boards, be interested to
know!
These modern boards dont support ATA33 hard drives any more either (as an
aside!)
