> I'm a little confused by your post. With the cmd line interface open
merely right click on the top bar and then click properties and all the
options to size for present or future instances are there. You can change
fonts\colours\window size and so on. When any changes are made it then asks
if you want this change only for present session or for all future sessions
as well. Choose all future sessions. Good luck.
Then you don't understand. I can change the size of the command prompt
buffer and how many of them show at any one time (In this case, I want as
many as will show on the screen at any one time without scrolling), and it
will remember this with no problems.
But when I run any program, such as "EDIT" (which comes with XP), it
drops to only 50 lines. The screen will hold 70, depending on font size,
etc.
I want to prevent it from (temporarily) reducing the line count to 50.
This works just fine in Win98.
