I have an application which uses escape sequences to do
screen positioning. It worked fine under the Win98 command
prompt with ansi.sys loaded. I can't see to get Ansi.sys
loaded even though I have put it into the config.nt file.

How can I get the escape sequences to work un XP?

Thanks!

Dave

Hi David,

DOS is not given the leeway it used to have in earlier versions
of Windows. This helps create a more stable environment.

With that said, which game is this for? They may have a patch
or mod available for the game which you may find useful instead.

I found using DOSBOX it would allow all the old ANSI.SYS codes to work just fine.
This under both XP and Windows 7.
