Hi all...

I was trying to change the app that is used to edit the ".bat" extension and
ended up completely screwing it up. The problem I have created for myself
is that my logon script doesn't run any more when I log into the network
anymore. Does anyone have any idea as to how I can restore this to it's
original functionality?

Any and all help will be appreciated!!

Thanks

Hi Jeff,

I don't have a BAT file type even listed in File Types. Do you? If so,
delete it.

What happens when you double click on a BAT file in Windows? Does it
execute? Maybe you set the default action to Edit or something else.

Report back,

Batch files are edited with a text editor, usually notepad.exe.
Use notepad to open your logon script and post its contents
here.
