I'm looking for a tool which, given a specific list of processes, files
& registry keys will assist in performing a manual uninstall.
This is mainly so that we can remove isolated identified pieces of
malware that have infected our network.
Ideally, I'd like to be able to specify my own "definitions" (say, in an
xml file) and then run a command line application via a logon script
that scanned for and removed defined components.
Is anyone aware of such a tool? I understand there's many heavyweight
spyware removal tools such sa Spybot, and good GUI apps such as
Hijackthis for specific incidents but I'm looking for something a bit
more powerful (i.e. command line based and not based on full system
scans) that I can control myself.
If there's isn't, I'll probably look at writing such a tool myself, but
I'd like to avoid re-inventing the wheel, if possible.
