i am trying to use shellexec to print with and can call an editor to do so.
the problem is i cant figure how to change fonts for the printout, and
thought maybe there is a way to pass the font to notepad or wordpad when
opening it.

any ideas.

There is no command line switch for notepad or wordpad to select a font and
what not. You may investigate wether there is another program that does allow
formatting using a command line switch.
