For someone who has half a clue how a computer works, sometimes for repair it
is sufficient to get the system booted to a command line from the install
disk, without any diversionary sidetracks. Just load the minimum drivers and
open the friggin command line and I can often take it from there.

To Microsoft; Sometimes I don't need your help and advise, I just need you
to step aside (i.e. get out of the way) and let me deal with things my way.
