Please Help!
I have a Sony Vaio running a pentium 4 1300MHZ @1.29GHz.
I upgraded to Windows XP Home Edition Version 2002
Service pack 1.
I haven't installed new software.
Upon restarting today, I receive the black screen with
all the MS-DOS
configurations etc
and it states that Windows 95 is starting.
I don't think this machine has ever had 95 on it.
and then get a line which says, "Enter command
interpreter"
EX; C:/WINDOWS/COMMAND.COM
I cannot restart nor reboot.
I must restart from the Windows XP installation disk.
Then I can find my original stuff.
But, when I remove the XP install disk and
reboot......same as above.
What can I do?
I am at a TOTAL LOSS!
Please , please help.
