How is a command button added to a worksheet? How is code attached to the
command button so the code executes when the button is clicked?

Make sure you have the Contorl Toolbox Toolbar visible

Click the 1st icon on the Toolbar (Design Mode)
Then select the CommandButton icon and Place it on the sheet somewhere
Use the Properties icon on the toolbar to change the Text/Font/Colours etc
Double click ther button to add code to it.

Have you thought of changing your "PC Datasheet" sig line to "clueless
newbie"? You can't seriously claim to be a "resource" in Excel when you
can't work simple stuff like this out for yourself.
