Command button problems after converting from Access 97 to Access 2000

I recently converted a DB from Access 97 to Access 2000. When I went
into a form to create a command button to open a form it does not show
the forms available to be used with this command button. We tried
uninstalling and reinstalling Access 2000, but to no avail. Everyone
who uses the DB can go into the design mode of a form and create a
command button except me. Anyone have an idea what is the reason and
how it can be corrected?
