I have install my Bluetooth drivers, which is assigned to two comm ports...
the comm ports which have been assign are 47 and 48... the trouble that I am
having the software does not use ports above 30... I have look in the device
manager and the only comm ports assigned are 1,2,47 and 48... looking into
the comm ports there is a listing that says most comm ports are assigned...

is there anyway to find out what they are assigned too... and can I
unassigned them...

I don’t know where can you view where your COM ports are already
assigned but you can reassig thm on the advance settings window of the
Bluetooth device.
