Comcast and Win2K

Comcast released a new version of its Universal Caller ID. The old
one worked fine but the new one always thinks there is new version
that must be installed. Doing so terminated the running version.

Comcast says that it is because they don't support Win2K! I believe
it is because Microsoft announced Microsoft will not support Win2K any
more.
They also said it is because I don't have the latest version of Adobe
AIR, but I do. Has anyone cured this problem?

I'd think they really meant to say they don't test compatibility on anything
this old. There's probably not much you can do.
