Comcast and IE

When I use my cable-modem to access IE, the upper right corner shows the
Comcast black 'C' instead of the usual Microsoft flag, and the program is
called 'Comcast Presents IE' or some such devious wording. This occurs on
only the one computer on my router that Comcast used for their installation.
As a result, some of the IE features do not work properly, e.g., accessing
email through Novel's program GroupWise. Is there some somple method for
accessing IE directly, instead of through the Comcast route? I have no
problem with Netscape, but GroupWise won't work with anything but IE.

Hi,

This is just the branding of IE, and has nothing to do with the way IE
works. You can remove the branding (logo+text in title bar) with
www.hlrnet.com/ieclear.bat .

As for Groupwise, you'll have to give us more details.

Kind regards
