ComboBox DropDownHeight

I override OnDropDown on a custom ComboBox. I then iterate through each item
up to the maxdropdownitems in the OwnerDrawVariable control and incriment
the dropdown size. but I always end up with a vertical scrollbar. how do I
eliminate this?
