I have on a thinkpad T30 a combo CD RW / DVD adapter
referenced HLDS (LG) GCC-4240N D110
After having installed NERO 5.0 I have lost the access to
this adapter. I have seen a (!) on the device on the
hardware profile.
I have tried to uninstall, re install this adapter, but
without any success.
I have Windows 2000 US edition.
Could someone tell me how to do to recover this adapter,
and where I can found last release of drivers?

An other question, is what type of burning software (and
what level) can I use on that type of material?

Thanks in advance for your reply and support

Best Regards,

Michel

Did you have Roxio's Easy CD Creator on this machine? If so, uninstall it -
but it leaves some stuff behind when you uninstall it. You have to eliminate
all Roxio files and all references to it. Tedious. I saw a post about this a
couple weeks back, so a google search should get you the information. Good
luck!
