I have used up the space in my programs list. A friend
told me he had heard the programs could be combined so
more programs could be listed on the program list. I
have tried to determine how to do this by looking in
Windows XP help. I am either not getting it or am to
dumb to understand. Will someone please help me on how I
can combine files, i.e., Games, Photography, so I may put
all my games or photography programs in one folder and
clear space in the programs list for other programs to
come up. I really liked Windows 98 where the programs
list just scrolled down. No problem there.
Where can I find the information to do so or buy a book
for dummys that will explain or just explain what I
should do. Thanks. Jim the Dummy

Program shortcuts are derived from two different locations:
documents and settings\all users\start menu\programs and documents and
settings\*user name*\start menu\programs.
Create, delete, and manipulate folders and shortcuts in those two
directories to customize your programs list.
