COM+ Event System Failed & Unable to start DCOM Server

XP Pro SP2

#Can anyone help me with these errors I receive in Event Viewer. They seem
to occur everytime my local area connection is enabled and occasionally the
PC will crash (shut down).

Event Type: Warning
Event Source: EventSystem
Event Category: (52)
Event ID: 4356
Date: 01/12/2007
Time: 22:49:25
User: N/A
Computer: LUCYFUR
Description:
The COM+ Event System failed to create an instance of the subscriber
partition:{41E90F3E-56C1-4633-81C3-6E8BAC8BDD70}!new:{58FC39EB-9DBD-4EA7-B7B4-9404CC6ACFAB}.
CoGetObject returned HRESULT 80070002.

Com+ System Application #Manual #Off
DCOM Server Process Launcher #Automatic #Started

Do you have QoS Packet Scheduler installed? If yes what affect does
disabling it have?

QoS is not listed in the Properties. The only item listed and checked is the
Client for Microsoft Networks.

QoS RSVP was on manual in Services and not started. I have disabled this in
Services and the errors still appear everytime I connect. No change.

The computer is standalone not networked.
