We have a spreadsheet called "Customer Acknowledgement Ticket" that we email
to technicians in the field and in turn they fill in job information. The
sheet has nine columns of various widths. The widths of each column is
carefully sized to fit needed information and remain within the margins of
one page. Sometimes the columns adjust to something narrower after they are
emailed to the technician. Is there a means of locking column widths so
they remain a specific size regardless of what computer its on?

Regards,
Gary

Can you protect the worksheet? (Tools|Protection|protect sheet)

Make sure you lock the cells you don't want changed and unlock the cells the
users can change (format|cells|protection tab)

You may want to specify "Fit to 1 page(s) wide by 1 page(s) tall" in
the Page Setup dialog, Page tab. This can solve problems related to
printing to various printers. Perhaps it would work for this problem.
