Coloured cells in a datagrid

Hello.

I am developing an application where a datagrid must be shown. One of
the columns of the datagrid contains information about status (there
are four different possible states). I want to display each cell of
this column witch te apropriate colour depending on the status. I
don't know how to do this. I would need some explanation or an
interesting link or sample about this, because I suppose it's possible
to do it with de Compact Framework.
