"Cross-Post. Sending a single post to more than one newsgroup at the same
time."
Fairly simple - even using that horrible web interface you are.
http://www.microsoft.com/wn3/locales...help_en-us.htm
To post in more than one discussion group, type the additional discussion
groups you want to post to in the Cross-post to these discussion groups box.
Use a comma (,) between discussion group names.
The full group name usually (in these groups) starts with "micorosft" and
can be located by looking at the link location (not the link itself, but
where it takes you) on the left side of the screen when using the Web
Interface.. For example..
Windows XP Customizing links to:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/e...&lang=en&cr=US
Where the full name of the group could be typed in as:
microsoft.public.windowsxp.customize
You *don't* normally need to do this. Don't know where your question
belongs? Post it once anyway.. You'll either get an answer, a post telling
you where to post or no answer. If the latter, post it again in a few days
elsewhere.
You'd be better off using a newsreader.
