how to colour coordinate my recieved emails?

sorry i just would like to know how to colour recieved emails, eg. emails i
get from a friend i want a different colour to one i may get from work.
please help me in the right direction.

Inbox | Tools | organize | using colors | select an email from that friend |
then select a color | apply.
