Coloring folder names in Windows Explorer

My computer has hundreds of sub-folder names within a single folder. A few of
these sub-folders are 'key' folders that I access frequently via Windows
Explorer.

I've re-named these 'key' sub-folders using all-caps -- this makes them
*somewhat* easier to see, but...

Is it possible to set individual folder and sub-folder names to a different
color (like red) so they can be easily seen within a long list?

Thanks, John

You can customize each folder icon with a different icon but not color. You
may be able to make your on icon.

Just right click the folder and go to properties, click on the Customize
tab, and at the bottom you should see Folder icons.

Hi John,

This can be done, but sad to say not freely. What I can suggest until you
find someone crafty is using a different icon via Change. Good luck either
way!
