Color Profiles no longer loadable on 2000 pro

Hi,
I just went to calibrate my monitor again and found out that ICC profiles
stopped working! No matter what profile I try to load I get a Microsoft
Color Management System pop-up that says "An error occured while associating
<profilename>.ICM This is not a valid color profile." When I transfer the
same profile to my XP system it loads just fine. Any suggestions?
