Color graph printing in black, converting into PDF in black.

Hi,
I am creating a bar chart in excel, and using fill effect with red as the
primary color. I then paste the graph into word. its looks OK at this point.
But if i convert into pdf or try to print in color i only get black...the red
disappears...

if i just use straight red it works OK but this is important because my
company's colors are much closer to the fill effect red...


anybody have a fix for this?
