Have a new Geoforce 550 256mb. Seems after a few minutes of play on
Graphics Intensive games, I get small color artifacts across the screen.
Not a bunch mind you, and really doenst slow down the card or affect
gameplay, but annoying nonetheless. Is this most likely a heat issue and
what if any fixes to this problem...

Mark, try adding a cooling Fan that will direct air over the Graphics
card. If you are overclocking back off somewhat.

Sounds like heat to me too. Sometimes the fans that ship with the cards
are "underpowered", i.e. not pushing enough volume at the needed rate.
Try blowing cool air into the case in the direction of the card (even
setting up an oscillating fan with the case open if need be) and see if
it changes anything. If the artifacts don't show, then you know you
have a heat issue, and I would look into buying one of the aftermarket
fans for your specific card. Try looking up the model and add the word
fan after it in google.
