Printing many copies of a certain document to a printer that has a finisher,
is possible only by unchecking the collate box.
Is it possible to have the collate box unchecked by default?

Thanks in advance!

You do not mention what printer or what operating system, so the answer is
probably maybe....

In Windows you can select the printer from Start, Settings, Printers then right
click on the appropriate printer, select Properties and then set whatever you
want the default to be. This should remain the default until you change it
from the same process.

Note that some applications will have their own defaults and do not use the
Windows defaults.

Mac or Linux users will have a different process.
