How about some help
How I can link many different sub forms to data queries on the same form or other forms that have link command button on this form. Detail coding and explanation is greatly appreciated, since I am a new user
Example: (A form has a folder record number (Chart_id) that can be selected from a combo box at form Header. All the sub forms are located at detail section of this form or other non-active forms with a link command button on form. The subforms data in some is for view only but in others for data entry.
Form A (Chart_id combo box at Form Header) will select a folder record
SubForm_1 (to be opened with data related to same Chart_id for data entry
SubForm_2 (to be opened with data related to same Chart_id for view
FormB (will be opened with a same Chart _id following use of linked command button on Form A
Subform_3 (to be opened with data related to same Chart_id for view
Subform_4 (to be opened with data related to same Chart_id for data entry
Subform_1 (for data view only in this form
A graphic chart related to same Chart_i
A link to saved fax records or photo for the same Chart_i
