Codes list for malfunctions?

Does anyone know if there is a place were i can look up
what code errors mean ie code 10 pops up on my computerm
in windows when i try to install a graphic card and other
codes. Id like learn whart the mean and how to solve the
problem. Any help would be great. thankyou
