In the middle of a page of code, the color coding changes. From that point
on, the last character every word preceding an end quote (") is a different
color (blue instead of red like the other characters. I have never changed
the color coding options. I reset the color coding options after having read
of other problems being solved this way. This did not make any changes.
I do see any problems with function or display caused by this but that does
not mean there is not a problem. Is it a problem? Can someone explain why
this has happened and what I can do to correct it?

That indicates that there is an error in the html.
Usually at or just before the location where the color changes.

In code view, right click and then select "Reformat HTML" and see if it fixes it.

The error is often a mismatch in quotes around attribute values.
