I've lost the jewel case for the upgrade 2003 for fp - so can't find the id
key - I'm having bootup problems with xp pro so may have to do a reformat
and then I'll have to reinstall everything again - is the PRODUCT ID in the
splash page that you get when you click on Help/About Microsoft fp the key
I'll need to reinstall the upgrade? I have all my other disks , 98, 2000
2002 ... but for some reason can't find the right case for the upgrade 2003
....

thanks
Pam

To replace a CD or Product Key, you must contact PSS. To locate the

Belarc Advisor, at http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html, will "read"
your hard drive and generate a report that includes the license key for your
copy of FrontPage (and other installed programs) along with a long list of
other useful or interesting information.

Belarc is freeware.

What that will give you is the PID, or product identifier. (This is the
same that you get from the Help / About dialog.) This is not the same as
the CD key and will not work for the installation of the product.

I see it mentioned a lot, but I've never used it. I do have it on my system
now. Pretty neat piece of software.
