Hi All,

What settings do people on here use for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 pc? Mine are currently set as:

1920/1200

AA x4

All of the others are set to defualts. I have noticed a little tearing in the game I then changed Sync every frame to on and now the FPS are limited to 60fps.

I can max mw2 at all full settings @ 1920x1200, is the rig in your sig what you have now? you upgraded didn't you?

Vsync will cap your fps at 30 or 60 IIRC, personally i dont like it as it can add mouse lag.

MW2 is capped in the config at 85 or 90, but you will see about 92 max ingame. This cant be changed thanks to good old IW.

If your happy with vsync capping at 60 then no worries.

Hi V_R,

thanks for your reply.

This on my new system that I made recently specs below I'll update my sig so that the new specs are in it. I'll have a play around tommrow with the setting for COD and see which ones work better.

MSI 790FX - GD70 motherboard,

AMD 965 3.40ghz C3 CPU

Gkill 4gb 1600mhz DDR3 ram

Samsung 400gb hdd

Corsair PSU 620w

ATI 5850 GFX Card.

Antec three hundred case.

Windows 7 Home Premuim 64bit

Creative Sound Blaster XI Gamer Sound Card

Would you suggest adding more memory to the rig above or will 4gb probably do for the time being?

Thanks

Nah thats will be fine, turn off vsync, and turn on everything else, what sort of fps do you get?

Yeah thats fine then, like i say Vsunc stops tearing, but limits fps to 60. 60 is still plenty.
