Having some problems with AD/DNS. GUID for a domain controller is not being
registered as a CNAME (or Alias) under _msdcs. When I use Netdiag, dcdiag,
repadmin, dnslint, et al, they all point me to the fact this GUID has not
been registered. However I can't figure out how to get it registered. The
GUID is present in c:\winnt\system32\config\netlogon.dns. Tried renaming
this and netlogon.dnb, doing an ipconfig /registerdns, net stop netlogon,
net start netlogon. The GUID still doesn't register. Anyone know how I can
remedy this situation/force the bugger to register?

TIA

Gary

It appears that you are missing the part about AD-integrated. Make sure the
zone is AD-integrated.
