Hi keep getting this message when i switch on pc.
cmos checksum error - defaults loaded

Diskette drive 0 seek failure press F1 to Continue F2 to enter setup.
When i press f1 or f2 nothing happens any ideas.

Hi Squeaker

It seems your battery has died on your BIOS.

Its a round silver battery and need to be replaced. Really easy to do and easy to get hold of a new one

Turn off the recommended settings.

Yep, as TD said, " cmos checksum error - defaults loaded" means dead battery.
