I have this problem where after I log into my os after startup, the
c:/winnt/system32/cmd.exe window will pop up in regular intervals and then
shutting itself off right away.

Does anyone have any ideas to what is wrong with my comp?

You just described the MSBLASTER virus. So, that is the
only thing wrong with your computer.

So what can I do to remove this MSBLASTER virus?

I have tried a Symanantic Blasterfix.exe, and it tells me, tahat ther is no
blaster-worm in my computer.
